Hi. Thanks so much for coming to the site!

Bus Seven is a Dallas-based, Christian Blues-Rock Band (with R&B and folk influences as well) looking for both a drummer and a keyboardist (male or female) to finish out our lineup. The musicians in the band have been playing most their lives (one is a music director at a children's home, one teaches and performs music for a living, and one is on staff at a church as a worship leader) so we're serious about the band, about making music, and want it to go far. We play both concerts of original songs and lead worship sets.

We’re looking for a drummer or keyboardist who:
-is a Christian and walks daily with the Lord.
-is a serious musician who is available on weekends and wants to play shows often or every weekend.
-lives in the Dallas area.
-can commit to practicing once a week on either Friday or Saturday morning.
-is willing to play at many kinds of venues, from clubs to churches.
-continues to hone their skills and deepen their understanding of music.
-wants to use their talents and giftings on a team of likeminded musicians who play at a high level and who aim to encourage one another in all things.

(Drummers or Keyboardists who are also vocalists and/or multi-instrumentalists are welcome to apply! We want to use your talents!)

Bus Seven is serious about getting paid for our gigs, using the money both to recover our personal costs and to further the band through products and marketing. In our current stage of growth, a large percentage of money generated from a gig goes toward savings for the band (for music videos, recording, internet costs, cd manufacturing, etc.) with the understanding that members are not counting on Bus Seven for their livelihood income and that furthering Bus Seven is of utmost importance. Generally, any monies going to members are used to recover individual costs and a little above that. Anyone considering joining Bus Seven needs to be willing to adopt this mindset during this initial growing stage to allow us to gain momentum quickly and easily.
